Stars
There are seven star classes in
Delta Quadrant: Horizons galaxy. These are actually the classic categories of stars used in astronomy. Astronomers classify stars by their temperature. Temperature determines much of the activity of a star. You can even figure out how old it is when you know the temperature. The usual classification is O, B, A, F, G, K, M. From the hottest class
O with temperatures over
25,000 Kelvin to the cooler class
M at less that
3,500 Kelvin.
Star CLASS | O | B | A | F | G | K | M |

In the
Delta Quadrant: Horizons galaxy each star can have up to 7 planets. The number of planets in a star system, as well as their class depends on the class of the star.
The closer you are to the center of the list of star classes, the higher your chances of finding planets with the best climate, such as
Terrestrial Class.
See
Planets section for more information about planet classes.
